City of Fort St. John – All In Up North

Branding, Digital Marketing & Advertising
Fort St. John, British Columbia

Monogram partnered with the city of Fort St. John to create a brand presence for its economic development arm. Our goal was to step outside the box and showcase the city in a bold, new way while staying rooted in the heart of the community.

The Ask

The City of Fort St. John is a fast-growing community in northeastern BC, proudly known as the Energetic City for its relentless momentum and ambition. The City engaged Monogram to develop brand identities for attracting economic investment without feeling like a standard municipal campaign.

The Approach

Monogram led strategic sessions with the City's Communications and Economic Development teams to map audiences, understand current and future priorities and identify what made Fort St. John genuinely worth investing in. From those insights, we developed a standalone brand identity and visual direction:

  • All In. Up North. — Created for economic development, this brand speaks directly to investors and businesses, projecting confidence, opportunity and the boldness of the north
  • Monogram produced a full suite of supporting assets: website copy, editorial booklet, digital and print advertising.
  • To ensure a strong internal launch, we developed a staff rollout plan—giving City employees the context, tools, and language to become brand ambassadors before either brand went public
The Results

All In. Up North. launched with strong internal momentum and gave the City clear, confident tools to carry their story forward. Key outcomes included:

  • City staff responded with overwhelmingly positive feedback during the rollout, with many immediately connecting to the brand narratives and feeling equipped to speak to them
  • Fort St. John now has investor-ready resources: All In. Up North.-branded booklets, ads, and a business suite of PowerPoint templates, booth materials (tablecloth, banners) to support active economic development conversations
  • Built to stand independently of the City's main identity, giving partners and investors a shareable, credible resource they can use on their own terms
