The College of New Caledonia (CNC) approached Monogram Communications with a need for a brand identity refresh, modernized digital presence, and a cohesive communications strategy that would allow for messaging and visual identity to align across all platforms.
The College of New Caledonia (CNC) is a post-secondary institution serving the residents of British Columbia’s central interior. Approaching its 50th anniversary, CNC aimed to set a clear strategic marketing communications direction to unify its presence across six regional campuses and better connect with students, staff and the broader community.
CNC needed a refreshed brand identity, modernized digital presence, and a cohesive communications strategy that would align its messaging and visual identity across all platforms. The initiative required extensive stakeholder engagement and change management to ensure buy-in and long-term adoption.
We led a collaborative process with CNC’s internal team and four contractors, placing a strong emphasis on user experience. Key steps included:
Conducting a deep-dive into CNC’s culture through interviews, primary research and collaborative workshops
Creating a new visual identity and multiple logo variations for diverse usage
Developing comprehensive brand guidelines to ensure long-term consistency
Redesigning the website with a UX-focused architecture, SEO analysis and refreshed content, imagery and video assets
The project launched in time for CNC’s 50th anniversary and delivered a unified, future-ready brand presence. Highlights include:
One cohesive visual identity applied consistently across all six campuses
Updated marketing assets, policies and processes to streamline communications
A modern, responsive website with improved navigation, SEO performance and audience engagement
A strengthened brand foundation to support CNC’s marketing and communications for years to come
When tragedy strikes, how an institution responds matters as much as what happened. After a student was struck by a vehicle crossing the highway in front of campus, CNC needed more than a statement; they needed a thoughtful, carefully considered crisis communications response. Monogram was called in to help the College navigate this critical moment with clarity and compassion.
UNBC needed to raise its national profile and bring in students from coast to coast. Monogram addressed this need with an integrated marketing campaign built around a contest and microsite that turned user-generated content into UNBC’s biggest recruitment asset, including a contest winner who became the university’s own student-driven content marketer throughout his first year.
A crisis doesn’t wait for you to be ready. That’s why Monogram set out to make sure the Prince George Public Library never had to face one without a plan. Through extensive industry research and close collaboration with the library’s team, we built a curated crisis communications guide, and captured it in an in-depth report designed to guide them through any moment of uncertainty.
Amid growing tensions, School District 57 needed a way forward, one built on clarity, reconciliation and trust. They brought in Monogram Communications to design a strategic communications approach that could reach diverse stakeholders across the district.
School District 57 (SD57) sought to refresh their 50-year-old logo and visual identity. Monogram Communications engaged with local Elders, students and educators to create a powerful new brand that would reflect SD57’s diverse communities and cultural heritage.
Keyano College approached Monogram Communications to develop a strategic communications plan. Their goal was to elevate the College’s position as a choice post-secondary school to prospective students, specifically within the region, and highlight the College’s long-standing community contributions during its 60th anniversary year.
