District of Kitimat set out to unify their brand communication materials (posters, notices, bulletins, digital screens) across their Corporate brand and their Leisure Services brand — and called in Monogram to make it happen, all while preserving their Corporate identity and Leisure Services identity.
District of Kitimat is a small, close-knit community on the edge of the Douglas Channel in northwest BC, serving a population of just over 8,000 through two core brands: its corporate identity and its leisure services identity.
The District's communications team needed both brands to feel unmistakably "Kitimat" across every touchpoint, along with easy-to-use Canva templates their staff could implement with or without design experience.
To build templates the team could integrate into their workflow, Monogram started by listening—then designed a toolkit built for long-term, in-house use.
District of Kitimat's corporate and leisure services teams now have a shared, easy-to-use template library and a lasting design resource they can turn to long after the training ends.
