Firecircle needed accessible, hands-on training to help its entrepreneurs strengthen their marketing skills and confidently use new tools. Monogram delivered tailored workshops focused on core strategy, budget planning, and practical applications of AI in public relations.

The Ask

Firecircle is Canada’s only digital accelerator focused on empowering tourism businesses and start-ups through mentorship, education, and community. To strengthen its members’ marketing capacity, Firecircle engaged Monogram Communications to deliver specialized training sessions.

Firecircle sought clear, practical workshops that would help entrepreneurs understand and apply core marketing strategies, budget planning, and emerging tools like AI in public relations.

The Approach

Monogram created and facilitated three tailored sessions designed to be both strategic and hands-on:

  • Introduced the PESO model (Paid, Earned, Shared, Owned) as a framework for integrated marketing

  • Guided participants in allocating budgets using Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) principles

  • Explored the role of AI in PR, with a focus on managing misinformation

The Results

The workshops were well received, with participants responding positively to the interactive approach and practical takeaways.

  • The PESO session drew strong engagement, showcasing how diverse methods strengthen a marketing strategy

  • Participants left with reusable materials on PESO, budget planning, and AI in PR to guide future efforts

  • Firecircle gained a trusted partner in Monogram, helping position its members for long-term growth in the tourism sector
