Praxis Solutions – The Exchange

Brand and Communications Campaign
Prince George, British Columbia, Canada

Led by the Prince George Chamber of Commerce, The Exchange is a data-driven platform mapping connections between local businesses and non-profit organizations. Praxis Solutions engaged Monogram Communications to develop the brand and execute a multi-layer campaign to drive awareness, engagement and action within a three-month window.

The Ask

The Exchange was created to strengthen collaboration between local businesses and non-profit organizations through social network analysis, helping map connections and identify partnership opportunities across the Prince George community. Praxis Solutions—a policy, planning and development consultancy serving local governments, Indigenous communities, non-profits and developers—worked in partnership with the Prince George Chamber of Commerce to engage Monogram Communications to brand and launch the platform.

The team required a clear brand identity and a focused marketing strategy to generate awareness, drive survey participation and encourage Chamber membership within a condensed timeline.

The Approach

We executed a strategic three-month campaign designed to move audiences from awareness to participation and action. Our work included:

  • Creating a clear and accessible brand identity for The Exchange ahead of its October 2025 launch
  • Building awareness through a multi-channel campaign including social media, paid advertising, 1:1 outreach, event pop-ups and presentations to allied organizations
  • Driving survey participation among non-profits to inform the platform’s data mapping and insights
  • Supporting Chamber engagement efforts by positioning exclusive platform access as a member benefit
The Results

The campaign delivered strong community uptake and measurable impact, establishing a solid foundation and actionable steps for the platform’s next phase.

Numerical Wins:

  • 170,000+ combined impressions, reads, event attendance and participation
  • 33 completed non-profit survey responses to inform community network mapping
  • 110+ attendance for in-person engagements directly about The Exchange
  • 17 new Chamber memberships secured in six weeks
  • 3-month end-to-end brand and campaign execution

The Exchange successfully launched with momentum, demonstrating how strategic branding and focused outreach can strengthen community connections and drive meaningful engagement.

Real feedback from participants that shows how education on the platform influenced positive perception on the value of The Exchange:

"The Exchange is a fresh way to connect the dots in our community, making partnerships visible and accessible through a simple web application. It's going to make it easier for Prince George organizations to see where collaboration is happening and where new opportunities can grow." - Christina Watts, Specialist, Communications and Engagement, Tourism Prince George

In my current role, I see [The Exchange] helping me find and connect with not-for-profit organizations I may not be aware of and to find new opportunities for connection and collaboration.” - Community Workshop Participant

On strengthening collaboration in Prince George: “I think it could help different organizations see where collaboration is happening and where they could possibly support that collaboration or create new opportunities and connections.” - Community Workshop Participant
